We are firm believers that care today is savings tomorrow. The dental prevention skills you learn can really help you financially and physically in the long run. The more you frequent the dentist, the earlier you can catch issues instead of waiting for the warning signs of a cavity on your own.

Request an AppointmentAccording to the Mayo Clinic, the signs and symptoms of cavities vary, depending on their extent and location in your mouth. When a cavity is just beginning, you may not have any symptoms at all. As the decay gets larger, it may cause signs and symptoms such as:

Toothache
Tooth sensitivity
Mild to sharp pain when eating or drinking something sweet, hot or cold
Visible holes or pits in your teeth
Brown, black or white staining on any surface of a tooth
Pain when you bite down
The most important part however, is that you may might not be aware that a cavity is forming and have zero symptoms, so remember regular checkup and cleanings are vital to catch these issues before they worsen in severity.

If you do experience any of these signs however, please give one of our offices a call and we would be happy to help you!
